Barely a few weeks after announcing the re-designed playback screen, YouTube has launched the feature together with an experimental one that displays lyrics for both iOS and Android.

Users will access the static lyrics from within YouTube Music’s Android and iOS apps, in spite of being a free or a paying user. This feature will come in handy for those who want to sing along or dedicate songs to their loved ones.

To see the feature, simply tap the (i) button underneath the video you’re currently watching. You’ll have to manually scroll down to follow the words — if they’re available.

However, not all videos come with built-in lyrics even if they were posted by their artists’ or record labels’ official accounts.
